Benefits Specialist (Stellantis)

The Position: We’re looking for Benefits Specialist.

Coordinates the administration of corporate benefit programs such as medical, dental and vision insurance, FSA, EAP and other benefits. Consults with and advises employees on eligibility, provisions, and other matters related to benefits. Coordinates and manages FMLA, disability claims, life claims and Worker’s Compensation claims. Maintains benefits records and documents. Assists in the preparation of employee benefits open enrollment and communications through the year. This role must not only have an understanding of all benefits and policies of the company and the federal government,but must also be able to deliver information to employees in a compassionate manner when required.

 

Requirements:

Skills
* Computers — Excellent knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word and HRIS systems. Ability to use the applications to manipulate, analyze and present data.
* Law and Government — Knowledge of laws and regulations related to benefits.
* Personnel and Human Resources — Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel benefits, labor relations and personnel information systems.
* Communication — Excellent oral and written skills, able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Qualifications (Education, Training, Certification, Licenses, Experience)
* Overall Experience — A minimum of 5 years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is needed for this position.
* Education — Bachelor’s degree

The Location: This position will be located in Southfield, Michigan.
